B-Association Scholarship

Established in 1987, B-Association Scholarships help qualified fifth-year student-athletes complete their education and obtain their undergraduate degrees. This scholarship provides financial support to qualified fifth-year student-athletes who have used up their athletic eligibility, wish to complete their Butler degrees, and are in good standing with the University. Head coaches recommend potential recipients to the Athletic Department Scholarship Committee and forward their recommendations to the Office of Financial Aid. Incorporated in the 1950s by a group of former Butler athletes, the B-Association provides invaluable financial as well as volunteer support to promote Butler’s athletic program and its student-athletes. The association promotes fellowship between its members and the Butler community, works to enhance Butler’s athletic program goals, and helps boost spirit and enthusiasm for Butler athletics and athletes.
