  9. By submitting this application, you understand you are applying only for the Mary Elizabeth Perna Memorial Scholarship departmental award. The monetary award for this scholarship ONLY will be in addition to your financial aid package.
  10. You may receive additional notice in the fall that you have been awarded a scholarship other than the ones above. If such notice is received, you understand these additional awards are used to support your total financial aid package and are NOT additional scholarship awards. Butler University awards your financial aid in generic terms such as Academic Scholarship, Butler Grant, etc. so a student can then be matched with a named scholarship. These scholarships help support the financial aid program and are essential for us to continue awarding over $80 million in financial aid each academic year.
