Joseph M. and Edna H. Nygaard Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1987 by Joseph Nygaard and his late wife, Edna. Joseph served as dean of Butler’s College of Education from 1968-1981. He stepped down to direct a new program he created, the Experiential Program for Preparing School Principals. The scholarship is awarded to students in the College of Education who are enrolled in the Experiential Program for Preparing School Principals.
