Nicholas M. Cripe Scholarship

Established to provide financial assistance to students majoring in speech or who are actively participating in debate or public speaking programs. While financial need is a consideration in selecting a recipient, scholarship awards are not limited to students demonstrating financial need. This scholarship was established by former students, colleagues and friends of the late Dr. Cripe upon his retirement and in recognition of his many years of service to Butler University. Nationally recognized in his field, Dr. Cripe was a well-loved professor of speech and a debate coach at Butler.
